I just had a look at factory package openvas-client-2.0.4-1.3
For source code file openvas-client-2.0.4/libnessus/rand.c
around line 60, function nessus_init_random
is the following code
if ((fd = open(EGD_PATH, O_RDWR)) >= 0)
but the matching call to close is
close(s);
which looks wrong. Maybe
close( fd);
would be better.

I tried to install openSUSE 11.2 Milestone 1 on Fujitsu Primergy RX220
( Promise FastTrak TX 150 S4 ), one disk with RAID0, GPT labeled
( Same problem exists also on Fujitsu Primergy rx200s4 with ESB2 (LSI Firmware)
and one disk RAID0. Installation works until the boot record should be written.
In case of rx220 the boot record should be written to the root partition.
Beside the error 22: No such partition also the MBR was destroyed.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Installed openSUSE 11.2 on fake raid with GPT
Actual Results:
No boot redord was written
Expected Results:
Correct operation, install a system which can be booted afterwards
In the latest release of fedora 11 (Preview) almost everything works out of the
box, which means only manual interaction for the following items is needed :
mklabel gpt (no botton for writing new partition table!)
mkinitrd on distribution is in error
for details please read #500322 (bugzilla.redhat.com)
I tried to write a new bootrecord with fedora 11 - which worked -
but openSUSE 11.2 cannot handle this bootrecord - so chainloading failed .
Next I tried to load the openSUSE boot menu with
configfile /boot/grub/menu.lst
So I could start openSUSE 11.2, but boot fails because root partition is not
found. This seems to be similar to #500979 - with one difference
that at that time (SLED 11) only the problem on ESB2 occurred.
There is also a second difference, in the previous edition (openSUSE 11.1,SLED
11) there was a problem with GPT and dmraid, which ended up, that the RAID
information was destroyed (please see #436825 )

I have
MozillaThunderbird-3.0b4-1.1.x86_64
from
mozilla:beta / SUSE_Factory
When I try to send a message via gmail smtp, I get (in czech):
Poslání zprávy selhalo. Při odesílání zprávy nastala chyba: Nepodařilo se
získat heslo pro smtp.gmail.com. Zpráva nebyla odeslána.
It means something like:
Sending failed. While sending the message an error occured: Unable to obtain
password for smtp.gmail.com. The message has not been sent.
I wanted to reproduce with en_US, but it proceeds fine.
I don't know how translation may affect this, but I tried many times and it's
definitely caused by locale.

I've updated to openSUSE 11.2 (todays factory) and tomcat gets a NullPointer
exception when it's starting. I've found a solution in applying the patch from
Mainstream bugzilla entry 47316:
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=47316#c3
Could you add this to the openSUSE package?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start tomcat with special server.xml
Actual Results:
Take a look into /var/log/tomcat6/catalina.out and found the same exception
then https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=47316
Expected Results:
Should run ;-)

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #540225 +++
On a fresh installation of M7 (KDE Live CD), on the first run of yast2
sw_single, it wants to install Sun Java 1.5
This seems like a very strange idea, it should install either openjdk 1.6 or
perhaps Sun Java 1.6, but certainly not Sun Java 1.5.

So, kst2 cannot be used. KDE 1.7 works fine.
