I notice the following line of code if ((dir = opendir (search_dir)) == 0) but I fail to notice a matching call to closedir. This looks like a resource leak to me. I do understand that kde 3.5 isn't supported on 11.2 any more. Make sure you didn't have that repository already. If you did, remove it first and restart YaST2. 3. Click Edit on openSUSE:Tools repository. 4. Click "Edit complete URL". The ':' character in the URL changes to '%3a', making it http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE%3a/Tools/openSUSE_11.1/ . 5. Clicking OK duplicates the repository (one with :, the other with %3a). The new repository is non-removable (probably due to https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=529937 ). It's mainly an issue for the livecd (but it'd also be nice to get less data to download on updates ;-)) It turns out that most people don't need all the icons in there. We apparently have those icon themes: + images_crystal.zip: this is for KDE + images_hicontrast.zip: this for accessibility (I guess?). + images_industrial.zip: I would think it's an old GNOME theme? + images_tango.zip: this is for GNOME + images.zip: upstream theme, I guess? According to bug 284980 comment 14, it's not possible to split this package in subpackages (the themes have to be installed, and cannot be detected at runtime -- this is *really* bad :/).
