I am trying to deploy it using the USB Boot disk option. The size of the .raw file is 488 MB The thin client is an HP vc4725 with 512 MB Flash Disk. The system boots with the USB boot disk and displays an alert stating "This will destroy ALL data on /dev/sda, continue ?". On saying yes, it proceeds further but errors out saying that /dev/sda has 60 MB whereas the required size is 488 MB. It seems that "sfdisk" is causing problems while calculating the disk size. I have tried out "blockdev --getsize64 /dev/sda" and it reports the correct disk size. Everything seems to work nicely, except that I cannot configure the KDM using "kcontrol". After having searched around, I have found out that YaST has installed KDM4, whereas "kcontrol" tries to configure as if KDM 3.5 is running. My issue is that I would like to change the background picture in KDM, just as I would like to have "kdeworld" running as background (yes, I know, "kdeworld" is not available for openSUSE 11.1, but that is another issue). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. New install of openSUSE 11.1 choosing as Desktop, Other -> KDE 3.5 2. Login as "root" through KDM 3. Start "kcontrol" (suse->Configure Desktop) 4. Select System Administration->Login Manager Actual Results: Changes made here ends up in "/opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc", but the running KDM (/usr/bin/kdm) is using "/usr/share/kde4/config/kdm/kdmrc", thus nothing of the made changes have any effect. Is it kde4/dolphin.desktop?
