I'll have to create a openvpn connection which is x509 certificate protect plus select a pre-determined cipher and the use of TLS auth key. I need also to give them specific route and keep my default route. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to add a openvpn connection with NM choose X509 certs. 2. Enter gateway 3. enter ca / host / private keys in the fields 4. click "Optional Informations" tab 5. check use lzo 6. check the "use cipher" -> the list remind unselectable 7. check TLS auth -> the select file combox remind unselectable 8. Try to change direction : not possible inactive zone 9. Try to put specifics ip ranges => inactive zones 10 register by ok 11. when you try to modify your choice, all fields become blank but "use lzo" Actual Results: it's absolutely impossible to use it ! Actually I don't understand why the package is build, as it doesn't allow anything useful. Expected Results: be able to choose whatever is needed to insert to make my connection available. Nevertheless these modules are listed in the Provides: of the package, which means that it could be accidently installed instead of the perl-XML-Parser package. Result: The perl modules are installed, all dependencies satisfied, but perl will bail out because it can't find them in @INC. I see two possible solutions for this bug: a) remove the perl modules from brp-check-suse and Require the perl packages containing them b) make sure that perl modules in private directories (aka "not in @INC") are not listed in the Provides: of the package. This bug affects 11.1 and Factory. This is demonstrated with fillup-1.42-242.14 (provided with openSUSE 11.1). I've included a simple test case that demonstrates the problem. What this test case is supposed to do is override a few variables in a copy of /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 and then display the diff. The variables do in fact get overridden, but there are a few other random changes to comments that should not have been applied, shown below.
