In the window showed, you'll see strange characters or just squares instead of polish letters (ą, ę, ó, ł, ń, ż, ś, ź, ć). This happens with Qt interface, don't have Gnome installed to test it with Gtk interface. Running sopranocmd --help | grep sesame after that gives the follwoing las lines: (Soprano::PluginManager) found no soprano plugin at "/usr/lib/soprano/libsoprano_sesame2backend.so" Running ls on /usr/lib/soprano shows that the file is present. If one installs java-1_6_0-sun the same lines appear when running sopranocmd. The package apparently contains all licenses (4 MB altogether) but only three packages on my system (smartmontools, openct and fuse) link to those licenses instead of including them. I have a USB-attached Cintiq 21UX. It appears it's the kernel driver that stops responding as wacdump reports absolutely nothing from the device after resume. It is possible to remove the kernel module, reinsert it and restart X to get it working again. The wacom driver package version is 0.8.1_2.6.27.19_3.2. I am attaching hwinfo --mouse, the syslog when putting my machine to sleep and resuming. Have AUTO Hibernate turned on after 61Mins. Sometimes after recovery from Hibernate I am asked to input screen saver code and other not. Sometimes after Hibernate - error "Suspend Failed - ok" after which system seems to be functioning correctly. I have no issue nor concern about Hibernate - This is just background info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No errors have been reported by any application nor has O/S issues any notable error. This morning I re-booted PC and ZMD icon appeared as a red X and right click options grayed out. Hovering over Icon == "ZMD Not Running" - See Attached. Cold-Boot PC - same incorrect display of Icon. Opened YAST>System>System Services - locate ZMD service - See Attached. After the screensaver was active I got a screen which slides to the right. I mean a small strip of pixels which should be on the right a displayed on the left. As expected: a screenshot does NOT show this behavior, so I assume this is a screensaver or nvidia issue. It looks like in the very beginning, when the X.conf was not 100% accurate for the monitor used;-) I'm using a Toshiba Notebook (A100). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. login to gnome and wait 2. Screensaver starts - re-login or touch mouse/keyboard 3. when the screen comes back the diplay is out of place Actual Results: The Display is slided to the right, i.e. a small strip from the right is shown on the left. I am using a fresh openSUSE 11.1-RC1 with 2.6.27.7-4-default kernel on IBM ThinkPad T42. It is very likely that the problem is related to the graphical card as it hangs approximately around the time, when X server gets started. Moreover after the freeze CapsLock LED starts blinking, which resemlbes me the struggle with proprietal ATI drivers on a different notebook.
