Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start 11.1 installer 2. Choose "mount by filesystem label" (and give the filesystems some label) 3. When initial installation is done and the new system itself runs, run mkinitrd. Actual Results: # mkinitrd -k vmlinuz -i itest Kernel image: /boot/vmlinuz Initrd image: /boot/itest Root device: /dev/root (mounted on / as xfs) Device root not found in sysfs Script /lib/mkinitrd/setup/72-block.sh failed! Expected Results: Cope with the situation, or never use LABEL= in the first place (but instead: /dev/disk/by-label/ when the installer creates the fstab entries) Oddly enough, the initial system is installed fine, despite the use of LABEL=. It is only in the final system. The problem has been reported for several distros http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-bugs-dist@lists.debian.org/msg265361.html http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=253619 http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/6367 and the workaround was always to set "--disable-amd64". On openSUSE 11.1 x86_64, imlib2 is compiled with "--enable-amd64" and the problem is also present. However, when compiling imlib2 from svn the problem is no longer present even when compiling with "--enable-amd64". Behaviour: Joining the domain fails (Linux(same machine) and Windows XP). It fails to create the machine account on the fly in ldap. The reason seams to be the lower case letters of the attributes "loginShell", "userPassword" and "homeDirectory" passed via the data_map structure to the YaPI::USERS:UserAdd fuction. My camera is a Canon IXUS 800, connected in PTP mode via USB. Every second photo I get an error dialog that tells me that this photo cannot be deleted (and it isn't deleted). But that photo can be deleted on the next try -- but again, then every 2nd photo is not deleted. So every "Delete all" action just deletes half of the photos. On openSUSE 10.3, digikam 0.9.3 works fine in the same situation. I can delete all photos on the camera. According to Marcus Meissner on the openSUSE mailing list, the culprit is libgphoto2 and this is a known bug without a Bugzilla ticket. Well, here it is. ;-) I tested that the new library version at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GPhoto/openSUSE_11.1/ works and can confirm that it fixes the problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attach camera, start digikam, dialog Import / <Camera model>. 2. On Camera dialog preview, trigger action "Delete all". Alternatively, select a few images and trigger action "Delete selected". Actual Results: Error dialog on every 2nd photo that it cannot be deleted.
