With opensuse 11.2 Factory 1, 2 and 3 my Thinkpad T400 beeps three times when suspendig to disk. And the moon LED is glowing between the first and the second beep. It seems, that someone tells the laptop that is suspenden (1. beep), than it recognizes that that wasn't true (2. beep for wake up) and finally it beeps the third time correctly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot on a Thinkpad, maybe only T400 2. Go to suspend-to-disk 3. When using kernel-default-2.6.32-0.0.35.a1b1c3a from the kotd-repository the expected entries in /sys/class/backlight appear and I can change the brightness. There is also no disk activity and appears to lock up immediately when starting resume. Then it plays a short time and hangs again for a while. Pulseaudio tells, that it is bug in the ALSA driver. How to reproduce: Watch DVB-T TV via xine. You are able to hear sound no longer than one minute. The same problem seems to affect all programs (Flash, Totem,...). When using ALSA directly, it seems that no problem appears. Pulse is configured with PULSE_NO_SIMD=1 Attaching /var/log/messages.
