I open a folder with images via the "Select Folder" widget, which is strange (to put it mildly). Then f-spot displays an "Import" dialog with all picture in a pane on the left and the first image of the list a little bit larger on the right. Unfortunately, this is view-only. At this stage I'd like to exclude some photos from being imported. Vincent helped me to track down and fix the unneeded dependencies in gconf2 (he splitted out gconf-sanity-check) and in gnome-keyring he splitted out the libraries according to the shared library policy. so now the last two offender are: gstreamer-0_10-plugins-base it pulls pango and in the video plugins X11 directly. gstreamer-0_10-plugins-base is pulled by libgstapp-0_10-0-0.10.24-2.4.x86_64.rpm and libgstinterfaces-0_10-0-0.10.24-2.4.x86_64.rpm. my suggestion would be moving them to recommends. the other option would be splitting out the graphical plugins. so lets ignore gstreamer-0_10-plugins-base for a test and voila finch links X11 directly?! why would it need that? last but not least i wonder why libgstreamer-0_10-0 links libcheck. it seems it is only needed during development not during runtime? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Error in the end is "Device /dev/md0 not handled". / [ filesystem ] /dev/mapper/system-root [ LVM ] /dev/mapper/cr_md0 [ LUKS ] /dev/md0 [ MD RAID ] /dev/sda2, /dev/sdb1, .. [ physical devices ] The way mkinitrd script are set up atm luks can only directly follow lvm. Therefore setup-luks plays a trick to support LVM in LUKS (fate 305633) which in the end leads to the error message above.
