Start the rescue system from the OpenSUSE installation DVD 2. Create a temporary mount point 3. Try to mount a ntfs partition with mount /dev/sda1 /testmountpoint Actual Results: I can not access the ntfs partition with the rescue system. I have to use Repair Installed System from the OpenSUSE 11.2 M7 DVD on console ALT+CTRL+5. I look at permission page in backend and all permissions for user root is false. Also for user yastws, but running polkit-auth --user <user> --explicit return that both account have permissions. I thought this should have ceased? Look at the size of the .kde4 folder just after login, it's huge du -sh .kde4 11M .kde4 Please stop nepomuk from doing this. I did it as follows: Boot the Live medium, then on the desktop click the install icon (I do not remember the exact label). FYI, I changed the theme to "Crux". After the installation, click Computer > YaST and from the YCC select "Software Repositories" and the "Configured Software Repositories" appears. See attachment. In the table, click on the 2nd repo (Non-Oss) and the info box below is changed to it accordingly. Click on the 3rd repo ("Oss"). The info box does not change. That's a bug. If you click on the 4th ("Source"), it changes again. If you click on the 5th ("Update"), the info box does not change.
