This looks like a memory leak to me. I notice the following code FILE *fd = popen (cmd, "r"); but I fail to notice any matching call to pclose. This looks like a resource leak to me. After installation I selected the Base Development pattern and the kernel-source package. What's crazy is that 1.xx GB of packages were then installed including certainly unneeded things like myspell-french and OpenOfficehelp-ru. This pattern is seriously bloated. Thanks!
