You need to 'edit' ('open') a partition to see what it will be formatted as. I didn't pay attention. After rebooting the system i was unable to pass the login manager screen of KDE. the code and user was accepted, a black screen appeared and then it returned to the login screen. Attached you will find a patch (from KDE SVN #817673) that improves the situation. This patch improves the situation in the following ways: * It fills in all desktop names right at the start of the module, using * The desktop name as found in the X Window configuration * The desktop name as found in kwinrc * The default "Desktop X" * Disables editing of desktop names that are marked as immutable by Kiosk. This patch was initiated by a customer of ours that requires desktop names to be preset in a global configuration file, even when a user has fewer desktops configured than that configuration file has names defined. As the copy progresses sometimes the time left for completion can go up, say going from 22 seconds to finish, to 28, then to 19 and so on in an erratic manner. CJK input in the KDE4 konsole doesn’t use onthespot input style. onthespot style is configured in /usr/bin/qtconfig (default) and used by other KDE4 applications like /usr/bin/kwrite. But not by konsole. If I turn on the bluetooth radio on my laptop, dmesg shows the radio is detected, but kbluetooth doesn't start. I can launch kbluetooth and kioobex_start manually, but I get the error 'Protocol not supported bluetooth' or 'Protocol not supported sdp' respectively before opening up a blank konqueror session. Dolphin is no better. Manually entering obex://, sdp:// or bluetooth:// in the address bar returns URL cannot be listed. Other bluetooth tools (hcitool, kbluemon, sdptool, obexftp/fs etc) work fine. Installed packages: kdebluetooth-1.0_beta8-99 bluez-audio-3.31-5 bluez-utils-3.31-5 bluez-firmware-1.2-96 pybluez-0.9.2-119 bluez-libs-3.31-3 openobex-1.3-123 obexfs-0.10-159 openobex-apps-1.3-123 python-obexftp-0.21-159 obexftp-0.21-159 obex-data-server-0.3-20 I know there is an open bug regarding browsing bluetooth filesystems with nautilus.
