Konqueror from KDE 4.1 doesn't crash on this page. Another detail that could be interesting: The crash only happens when you select a link from the search results. If you search for a town that only brings up a single result (search for "Insheim"), there's an automatic redirect to the only match (you don't need to click) and Konqueror does not crash. This means that the problematic code is probably called by the onClick handler of the result list. The full backtrace (153 steps) is attached. I first updated the repositories, then choose Filezilla, Datacrow, Vuze, etc. After installation, they did not appear in the menu (or new applications). I could only find them through the search bar. Switching to the old style menu, the applications where in the appropriate catagory spots. Sorry. I run a dual-monitor setup, with an external monitor attached to a laptop. In an ideal world, the external monitor would run at 1600x1200 and the laptop would run at 1400x1050 (native resolutions). However, that results in "losing" my cursor, as this results in the virtual screen: +===========+=========+ | | | | A | B | | +=========+ | | C | +===========+ - - - - + Monitor A is the 1600x1200, B is smaller. The result is that if my cursor is at the bottom of area A and I move it right (into area C), it's invisible. C is a somewhat large area, and if it gets there I may need to move the cursor a fair bit to find it again. This is annoying. Request 1: The cursor shouldn't be able to go "below" the visible area. It should instead be "bumped" to the floor of the current area. Thus, if my cursor is at the bottom of area A and I move it right, it should NOT move into area C but instead should be at the bottom of area B. Due to the above, in openSUSE 10.3 I changed A to also be 1400x1050, so that the heights were consistent. This is no longer possible in 11.0 (see #387498). Due to #387498, my current setup is: +========+=========+ | | | | A | B | +========+ | +=========+ A=external monitor, 1280x1024. B=laptop monitor, 1400x1050. I'd prefer A to be larger, so using gnome-display-properties I set A to have a resolution of 1600x1200. The result I *actually* got: +=========+=========+ | | | | | A |C| B | | +=========+ | | +===========+ i.e. B *overlaps* A, so that area C is duplicated across both screens. The current scheme used to localize our Firefox build doesn't allow to exchange the default bookmarks according to the locale. That's worse with FF2.0 than before because on request from the Mozilla Corporation we had to include the "Latest Headlines" livemark which pulls en-US news instead of localized news. We would have to start a discussion again with Axel Hecht (l10n lead at mozilla.com) about that. When I open Konqueror and go in some rep, if from the console I create or remove a file in this folder, there is no notification of file modification so I have to refresh manually the display with F5. this bug is corrected here in the description but not applied : http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106394 Can you repair and deploy a new package ? In opensuse 10.3 (same KDE) start root shell in text mode in console is normal, but when running KDE, if launch Konsole, choose "new root shell", type root password from that point it takes ages to get bash prompt.
