Running openSUSE-10.3, i586 there. The package "apache2-utils" requires suddenly "ed", which wasn't required on my server before, and therefore got additional installed. I looked through the "apache2-utils" and noticed that "/usr/sbin/sysconf_addword" is the only candidate who is using "ed". All other programs are using "perl". Can we please modify "/usr/sbin/sysconf_addword" to use "perl" instead? This is somewhat a continuation of Bug 392770 and I see Thomas' point that that bug should be closed. I'm going to assume I'm on RC 1 as I regularly run software updates using `yast2' and as of this writing, nothing is pending. Issue ===== o Hover mouse over `updater' systray icon. I get a `bubble' saying `New software updates are available' o Left-click the icon and I get the `Available Updates - openSUSE Updater' pane. The `Patches' tab is displayed. During the second stage of installation the part user was skipped by the installation program. The installation program complained space was low on home since I had two .iso files of openSUSE 10.3 there. When the laptop was suspended detached from the docking station, then inserted and resumed, it always hangs on a black screen, with a blinking half moon led. Capslock and numlock keys switch ther LEDs on and off.
