Choose installation source to be .ISO file. Finish. A TightVNC window opened and started the installation. In my case i choose to install SLED10. It fit perfectly on a 1600x1200 screen, but we have a void blank area with larger screen. The UXWGA resolution is not so common, but it exist on some laptop (as mine :)), and this is easy to fix. I did NOT install via DVD, but instead installed over the network, copying the vmlinuz and initrd from the DVD image to my local disk and installing, as described in http://en.opensuse.org/Network_Install. Apologies for not being very accurate... After the reboot, there are buttons that can be pressed to bring up sub-dialogs, such as the root password prompt, etc. Clicking these buttons results in apparently nothing happening, as no dialog is displayed. The lilo.conf is screwed up, and cannot be installed.
