In opensuse 10.3 (same KDE) start root shell in text mode in console is normal, but when running KDE, if launch Konsole, choose "new root shell", type root password from that point it takes ages to get bash prompt. I didn't change anything in my configuration but if I access google.com in Konqueror and click any link, I get a download prompt asking what I want to do, if I want to save the .html file, if I want to open it in Opera or if I want to cancel. It will light up and darken if you mouse over certain areas, it seems. I have attached a small video clip of it happening. This is consistent for all the themes I tried. It doesn't matter if I use the Novell style menu or the kde style. The results list showed a wrong sort order. There is an override by the "." - the list shows 2 sections: First sort criteria: Name or type Second sort criteria: Modified This is confusing to me, if the requested action "sort by date" is not possible the system should send me a note. See screenshot 1. 2. when navigating files and folders with arrows, konq skips some dirs/files.
