If I want move some rule from bottom to top (special case is add new rule and move it at top), I want only click on Up key. These three buttons interact badly with software volume control: Press Mute, -> kmix icon shows a crossed out speaker. Audio is muted. Press Mute again, -> kmix icon shows normal speaker, Audio is still muted. Nothing in kmix, realplay, kaffeine can bring back the audio to play. All signals are green, but the audio remains muted. My Acer Aspire 5930 with GeForce 9600 GT is not in the whitelist of s2ram. s2ram -f works nearly perfect on this system. No problems with X, system suspends and resumes without problems. Only starting s2ram -f in textmode results in a black screen after resuming, but system responds anyway. I've installed proprietary nvidia drivers, which cause a black screen after switching to vt1 (Ctrl+Alt+F1), but the s2ram problem occurs when booting with init=/bin/bash or runlevel 3 too, so it's not caused by the nvidia X driver. Output of s2ram -i This machine can be identified by: sys_vendor = "Acer " sys_product = "Aspire 5930 " sys_version = "0100 " bios_version = "V1.21 " Would be nice, if someone could add this machine to the whitelist. Hitting <CR> on the console let the update session continue. I installed 11.1rc1 on a small partition in a dual boot with 11.0 as this is how I usually do my testing. At the Installation summary I carefully reviewed that 11.0 had been found and would be configured as a boot option. Everything looked fine. However upon reboot I found that no 11.0 entry existed in grub/menu.lst.
