I can set as default gateway 2001:15c0:668e::1 but then I have IPv6 up and running, but not IPv4 for global communication, only for 82.209.54.72/29. I think YaST should detect if there is any IPv6 address on any interface (?except loopback) and if so, YaST should show one more field for default gateway marked like "Default IPv6 gateway". I think something like this would be fine also for IPv4 networking... I mean if there is no IPv4 address on any interface (?except loopback) YaST should not show me an field marked as "Default gateway"... If I click on "Create Virtual Machines" (because I just installed the tools), it does NOTHING. A couple of issues during the early XP installation phases, as shown on the attached screenshots, were 1. Typing the <F8> key to accept the XP license agreement didn't work. Had to send F8 from the context menu instead 2. After copying the XP files, an error message told that the VM Console couldn't be opened, and the XP installation was quitted (disappeared). I had to manually start VM Manager from YaST to be able to continue the WinXP setup part of the installation Norwegian Language layout for the keyboard was selected during this setup. 3. The major issue that was discovered during the late XP setup, writing in the fields for user name and hostname, was the that the Norwegian keyboard language didn't work. When typing the special Norwegian keys for the characters 'æøå' or 'ÆØÅ', nothing was written, while typing '-' became '+' instead. After the installation, starting XP and WordPad, the same happened. Or am I wrong? I also figured out that I can make xend to pass this parameter to qemu-dm by adding a keymap='CODE' line to the /etc/xen/vm/VM file. I tried other keymaps with similar results. What may be wrong with these keymaps? Are they defectivein a way? I have no idea. Thist bug report is primarily about the possible errors int these keymap files, but I have other related quetions too: It wold be good to make it possible to change the keymap setting in vm-install if it is necessary at all. Furthermore I do not know where virt-manager gets the information about VMs from. Once I moved every file from /etc/xen/vm to the root directory, restarted virt-manager and in spite of the lack of VM description files it still remebered my guest VM. I also do not know, what keeps the files /etc/xen/vm/VM and /etc/xen/vm/VM.xml in synchron. So, if i add a keymap to the file /etc/xen/vm/VM then that VM will use that keymap if I start if by the xm command. But what happens if i start that VM from virt-manager? Do I also need to add the keymap to the file /etc/xen/vm/VM.xml? The error I get is: GNU GRUB version 0.97 (640K lower / 3072K upper memory) [ Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible completions of a device/filename. ] grub> setup --stage2=/boot/grub/stage2 (hd0) (hd0,0) Error 22: No such partition grub> quit YaST correctly recognises the partitions, but refuses to install the boot loader leaving the system useless. Install e.g. KDE3.5 from the RC-1 DVD 32-bit. 2. reboot 3. choose "repair installed system" at the boot menu (of the DVD) 4. click on "expert tools" 5. choose boot installed system error message: "No Linux root partition found" however, "creating a new boot loader" works.
