This is in KDE 3.5. The first bug is a minor one: Starting K3b from the Plasma opens K3B and then show a popup: "KDEInit couldn't start '/opt/kde3/bin/k3b'.", which it actually just did.... Starting it from the menu doesn't give this error. I recreated the desktop entry from the menu entry, and the result is the same. The second bug is that K3B seems to have lost some functionality during updating: it doesn't recognize bin-files as images anymore. I used to just click the .bin-file and it would burn directly (at least I think it did, didn't it?), as it does with iso-files. Also via the menu option "Burn CD image", it says "invalid image". But I do not see a way to umount it again. I use thunderbird as email client, and beagle-thunderbird adding and extension to index my emails. My KDE environment is set to use thunderbird for email, and almost all applications I work with, can successfully launch/use thunderbird when I need to compose or view emails. Can kerry be fixed to respect the KDE settings? In other words the Knotify Windows is displayed as a Minimized Window, that forces a dialog for the user to answer before the user is permitted to write in the current active window. The other problem with the knotify window is that it is only inaccessible by minimizing the current active Window. As I have to simulate this error please view it and replace Knotify with FF Browser in windows alert colour, with a single flash and lock the desktop until dialog is satisfied. As this error is so difficult to capture I would suggest just turning on Knotify on all Window Messages in Kcontrol. It is 100% duplicative, turning the warning option on is sure to present itself at some time or another during general desktop work. - I cannot keep the screen-shot program ontop, even with changing the nature of the screen-shot window application.
