I am attempting to resize an ext3 partition using the tool in YaST2. I unmounted the /home partition by using the command 'umount /dev/sdb3' and proceeded to load Yast -> System -> Partitioner. The system found my wifi and I installed the b43 package. But in 12/Agoust/2008 (in Mexico) I installed a patch (I do not remember what it was ) using YaST2 and I turned my computer off. Next day I turned it on and the wifi card was not working, and my system neither recognized it. "Package xorg-X11-forts is broken, integrity check has failed. Abort, Retry, Skip." 2. "Package xmlformat is broken, integrity check has failed. Abort, Retry, Skip." In both error messages, I first tried "Retry" - nothing happened. So I pressed "Skip." Although this can be entered in the YAST2 network configuration, it does not always "stick". To fix this, I have to enter the default route by hand and not use YAST. This occurred in 10.3 as well. I currently have two network cards (eth0 and eth1) but it also happened under 10.3 when using only a single card. KDE 4 + XFCE -> impossible to complete KDE 4 + Gnome -> OK Gnome + XFCE -> OK KDE 4 + KDE 3.5 -> impossible to complete KDE 3.5 + XFCE -> OK When I tried to install KDE 4 + XFCE or KDE 4 + KDE 3.5, the installer complained about a not found library file : libzio.so.0. Some packages (like readline, wol, zsh, ...) can't be installed because of that.
