I followed the instructions (added UNLOAD_MODULES_BEFORE_SUSPEND to /etc/sysconfig/powersave/sleep) only to find out that they are outdated and simply not valid anymore. Interestingly I cannot see them with top/ps, but with 'htop', and I don't like it. Maybe I'm just inadequately informed and lacking some RTFM, but HIDDEN tasks shouldn't exist at all. That is a domain of the other os. This bug is present in ubuntu hardy 8.04 as well. This worked for me with openSUSE 10.2. Then after update to 10.3 it ceased functioning, I think.
