During upgrading to Beta2, i saw the systemtray icon change to not connected, but the connection was allright, and the mouseover told: wired conection ok. The new SUSE-KDE (the chameleon, full) is awful compared to the previous one (imho) but is also does not look good (technically) on vertical panels.
