When in full-screen mode, it is not possible to use Alt+[key] combinations. This reduces usability for general windowmanagement via keyboard. Alt+Tab : switching to other application windows with the Alt+Tab key combination is not implemented in full-screen mode. User has to step back to "normal" window mode to switch to other application windows. Alt+F4 : close window/application with Alt+F4 key combination not implemented in full-screen mode. User has to step back to "normal" window mode before the eye of gnome window/application can be closed. How to duplicate: Click on Computer and choose Control Center. Within the Control Center launch Menu Layout. Click on New Menu and add a new Menu item. In this mode the user can zoom in and out on the image. The then default fill-to-screen image display and zoomed out display situations remain true full-screen functionality by hiding the mousepointer and other interactive visualized functionalities after a few seconds not using them. Thus only showing the image in the screen, a true full-screen mode. However, using the zoom functionality to display only part of the image on the screen does not hide the mousepointer, nor any scroll-bars. Therefore in zoomed mode there is no true full-screen mode to display the image. If you increase the width of gnome-terminal so the whole URL fits on one line, Open Link opens it correctly. Strangely, this only happens inside mutt. But he does not wants to work without a clipboard application and wants the full configurability of Kontact for his office work. That's why he starts korgac, klipper and opensuseupdater at Gnome startup. Error description: When logging in to Gnome for example the korgac tray icon symbol sometimes won't appear in Gnome panel but sits somewhere on the desktop. How to reproduce: Start some KDE apps at Gnome startup. Paste the following apps in Gnome session settings dialog: - korgac - klipper - opensuseupdater Now log out and in again a few times. Some of the KDE apps tray icons won't appear in Gnome panel but somewhere on the desktop. Seems that the Gnome systray applet has an error. This happened many times to me. In KDE this error never happened that some Gnome apps tray icons where not placed in KDE systray... On the SuSELinux 10.1 Gnome desktop there is the menu places->connect to server. The current naming of "connect to server" suggests the dialog is to connect to a server. Instead, completing the dialog ends in creating a link on the desktop, without setting up a connection at all. As I understand from the Gnome documentation, the original implementation by Gnome realy was to connect to a server directly. Somehow this function changed during Gnome development or SuSE development.
