After that "rcxntpd start" suceeds without an error. Most of the time if moves around text but fillx in where the text should be just white. I think it is the skin that is causing the problem. I would guess it happens about 40% of the time, and the symptoms are: the NIC has link, has autonegotiated 1000MBit to the switch, but no traffic emanates from it.
