This "temporary hack" is potentially harmful but AFAIK does not break building of openssh in buildservice for 10.3 right now. (It might break building on your workstation though, it depends on krb libraries installed.) I spent several hours with fixing this hack when some older distros got really broken. My fix works somehow but it is not really elegant. I am planning to throw it away, rewrite completely in some better way and try to upstream it then. If it is accepted, I will try to update older distros. Now, when I edit my userChrome.css file and save everything is lost next time I start Firefox. It seems that Firefox in OS 10.2 is "hard coded" to overwrite the file every time it starts with a new one containing this line: @import url("file:///opt/gnome/share/themes/QtCurve/mozilla/QtCurve.css"); /* Added by QtCurve -- do not remove */ This is very annoying since I want to be able to change background color, reverse buttons and so on. These personal settings together with the Mostly Crystal theme worked great for me in 10.1. I have serched for this subject on different forums and in this bug database without luck. Wireless chip is a Broadcom, identified as Dell wireless 1390. BCM43xx does not work correctly with, so ndiswrapper is loaded. When connecting to a wep secured AP, wpa-supplicant works correctly and will connect. Trying to connect to an open public AP, wpa-supplicant times out and fails to connect. If you then run as su dhcpcd eth0, then a connection to the AP is created and wireless is available and works. This also affects OpenSuSE 10.2. Downgrading to gtk2-2.12.0-5.2 solves the problem. Description of the problem and steps to reproduce: 1. install gtk2-2.12.0-5.4 2. start mysql query browser 3. connect to a database without specifying default catalog 4. after the connection is made - click on any catalog listed on the right hand side. Expected result: to open the catalog, changing the icon from (db sign) to an arrow, so one can open it and list the tables Actual result: freeze of the application. Have to be closed. If you replace step 3 with: 3. connect to a database, specifying a default catalog Expected result: the application to be started, and the selected catalog displayed Actual result: No user interface is opened at all. In the process list mysql query browser is listed as running. Reproduce how often: always.
