I don't think this is the case, but I have received good responses here before. In this case, compiling a regex without REG_NEWLINE from regex.h doesn't do what it is supposed to - match "^" and "$" to the newline characters. I tried compiling it with REG_NEWLINE (as anyone should), and it didn't work either. So, I have to use umount -t cifs instead of umount.cifs to unmount share and remove mount point record from /etc/mtab. After replacing the original DSDT s2ram -f -s works fine in runlevel 3.I tried other parameters (-m -p and other possible combinations with -a) but then at best I have no screen after resume (keyboard still works). In runlevel 5 the machine goes to sleep correctly. After the resume the x-server and the window manager come up again but the window manager remains unusable. The effect is pretty much the same as in the screenshots of Christian Schneemann (see Bug 229603 - if it's necessary I will upload my own screenshots).Opened windows such as a konsole or konqueror are transparent and when you move them, they disappear. Only after moving the mouse over the place where they should be, appear some fragments of the windows. This happens not only with KDE but also with Blackbox. This installation, the first time I have to provide a correct password. But when I close the dialog, and select "Adjust Date & Time" again, an empty password will open the dialog. Also then, I'm able to start yast2 in "administrator"-mode without having to apply a correct password. The problem happened again several times in the past, but I don't know how to reproduce it. This time I was in graphical console (alt-F7), switched to text console (ctrl-alt-F1), gave a command switched back to graphical console (don't remember if ctrl-alt-F7 or alt-F7). The display went black (not in powersave: actualy grey, no contrast). Then I try switching back to a text console, to an other, push "shift", move the mouse, and back to graphical console ... with no success. The only trick that works : go to graphical console, press ctrl-alt-del (here nothing happens yet), then move the mouse (now screen comes up with "end session" screen + click on cancel button). Selected email(s) will now enter the in box. Select Inbox > Select one or more emails> Right click and select "Move" and move to a local folder. Outcome. The email that was moved to a local folder ends up back in the 'Trash folder. It never gets moved to the selected folder. It appears that the undelete function is not working and once an email is in the trash folder it cannot ever be moved to any other folder even if you omit the undelete function. If undeleting a large number of emails and attempting to move to a singular local folder results in corruption of indexing of the folder the undeleted emails were moved to - see screen shot. There appears no way of re-indexing the database. The synchronise menu option offers an extraneous error response. see screen capture. Folder properties indicate the local folder has now 978 emails in it when there is in reality on 64. I am unable to fix the indexing problem now.
