This creates a problem if your mail server is a different architecture from the system you do your work on. To reproduce, run vacation -I -F on a 32-bit system then vacation -l on a 64-bit system [if you don't have a shared home directory then copy vacation.db between the two steps]. The error message vacation: .vacation.db: Invalid argument is produced and the program does not work. As I also use "procmail" to deliver incoming mail, I also have to use "dmail". From the "IMAP Information Center" at the University of Washington <http://www.washington.edu/imap/>: The UW IMAP tookit includes the following: [...] * dmail: an MDA (Mail Delivery Agent) for use with procmail So, basically, is it possible to distribute the UW-IMAP server with "dmail"? When trying to connect to any WLAN network, the connection fails (timeout after 60 seconds). The following problem/error can be found in both /var/log/messages and dmesg: eth1: Caught WPA drop unencrypted request prism54_hostapd - len=48 eth1: Caught WPA supplicant set WPA IE request eth1: WPA IE Attachment was set The problem occurs on unencrypted networks as well as WEP/WPA/WPA2 encrypted ones. With YaST I installed qt-devel.rpm, but during the compilation fwbuilder said: (...) fwbedit.cpp:30:23: error: qsettings.h: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden fwbedit.cpp:31:23: error: qdatetime.h: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden (...) and finally ended with an error. I looked and I have header files installed in /usr/lib/qt3/include. After a RESTART (!) the compile went smooth. I NEVER heard of a Linux system that needed a reboot after a package installation. It seems that the new libraries and header files are not initialized correctly in postinstall. I found this error on my i686 AND on my x86_64 machine.
