Steps to reproduce: 1. Download PDF (to be attached) and open it in acroread . 2. Go to File -> Print. 3. Set the "Print Range" to "Page From" 1 to 4. 3. Choose the "Page Scaling" dropdown and choose "Multiple pages per sheet". 4. Set the "Pages Per Sheet" dropdown to 4. 5. Set the Orientation to LandScape. 6. Look at the preview at the right and note that the page is landscape with 4 pages on it. 7. Click on the OK button. Expected results: The page that comes out of the printer to be 4up, landscape. ASCII art approximation: +------+ | 1 2 | | 3 4 | +------+ Actual results: The page the printer produces is 4up, portrait. ASCII art approximation: +-----+ | | | 1 2 | | 3 4 | | | +-----+ How reproducible is this bug?: Reproducible every time. Additional information: Setting the orientation to portrait also produces 4up portrait output but with different vertical alignment. Printing the first page landscape works as expected. Many different printers all produce the same 4up result. Problem was reproduced on multiple SUSE 10.1 machines. Other PDFs are printed 4up landscape as expected. Acrobat Reader 8 on Windows Vista prints the page 4up landscape (but some of the glyphs are incorrect). Result is the gnome-screensaver activating when using any of the keys. fi while scrolling or just clicking for any interaction with the system. Worked, but the old 'packman' has disappeared. An error like "a service with this name already exists" would be better I think. If I select 'Restart computer' instead of Turn off computer, the reboot process worked. I will attach some details soon. I did a kde install of Opensuse 10.2 Beta2.
