GTK applications incorrectly is white instead of the color of the color settings. I thought I had messed something up, however the problem occurs even with a fresh standard install of openSUSE 10.1 to which only the patches listed by the online update is applied. If I don't apply the patches, the problem does not occur. In applications like gnome-nettool the background color of the application is alway incorrect. However, in applications like Firefox, when one for instance right-clicks on an image to save it, the save dialog had a white background instead of the one of the theme (in general grey). The strange thing is that the background color is incorrect only the first time the pop-up comes up after having started the application, thereafter the background color is correct (until the next start of the application). Hope you understand my problem. I have an new pc with an gigabyte P965 DS3 Mainboard and an Intel Dual Core 2 Duo E6600 Chip. I start the setup from suse and select the 64 version/or 32 bit. The Installation CD/DVD boots fine. But after detecting usb Firewire and yast2 opens the error comes that I should enter the Installation CD/DVDD or the drive is not detected.
