I think it's the last one being true (vs. your false) that does it.

I remember having read that the corresponding control file setting started to work with SP3. When creating a custom install cd, the step is skipped by simply removing the license text file from the cd image.
Yes, remove info.txt from media.1 on the first CD. But this is fixed with the driverupdate in SP3. Anas
