Dear listers, Two months ago I got a Rioworks' server mb with 240 cpus. I have run Linux on it, TurboLinux8, GinGin64 from RedHat, and now I am testing SuSE8.2beta9. I am interested in math packages, such as octave, scilab, R, etc. on large memory platform. My quick question is: (1) Scilab-2.7 included in this beta seems to me awfully buggy. Once I invoke it, it starts eating memory and would not stop until virtual memory is exausted. Has anyone of you got the same experience? Thank you for your attention. Yoriaki Fujimori

Thanks for the report, I've filed a bug report so that this gets fixed for the next release... Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SuSE Linux AG, Deutschherrnstr. 15-19, 90429 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
