Multisync Packages are Broken
Hi there, Did Suse test the multisync packages? Because Multisync crashes. I have known about this for a long time but put it down to a buggy install I have done a complete fresh install of suse 9.1amd64 and have the same problem. Is anyone successfully using multisync? As I need it for a number of devices. I have also tried compiling but there is a suse spesific alteration that I can't figure out. Kind regards Joel

I have a patched version here which seems to work. Too much to send it to the list, but I can send you the src.rpm or precompiled binaries as PM if you like. No warranty that all of it works though, I don't think anyone here actually uses multisync on a day-by-day base on a AMD64 machine. But I'd appreciate your feedback, maybe we can get it right in the first place for the next release... :) BB
Joel, I finally got a set of RPMs for SL91 which seem to work and don't have any 'outside' dependencies. I just put them in the staging areas and they should show up shortly at: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/bb/x86-64/9.1/multisync/ I only did a few short tests (no actual sync, as I had to do it remotely), but the plugins are there and you can create sync pairs etc. Please let me now if you have problems with those packages...
