kdebase-nsplugin32bit
FYI, I'm running SuSE 9.1 for AMD64. I uninstalled kdebase-nsplugin, In its place, I installed kdebase-nsplugin32bit from the SuSE 9.0 distribution (I couldn't find it in the 9.1 distribution). It didn't make nppdf.so or libflashplayer.so work.

(this is the only situation I have seen where this work i.e 64bit browser 32bit plugin). By installing the konqueror-nsplugin32bit
Do you mean "by installing the 32 bit version of kdebase3-nsplugin" or do you mean "by installing the 32 bit libflashplayer.so"?
(you've probably got the 64bit one installed, they clash so remove it before trying this).
Kind regards

I went to www.theinquirer.net. Konqueror asked me how to open a .swf file. I checked the "do not ask again" box and looked for an application to open it with. By mistake, I selected konqueror as the application.
How can I undo what I have done?
In the first place, why did konqueror not open the .swf using /usr/lib/browser-plugins/libflashplayer.so?
