I installed a current version of GTK prior to this operation. gtk-config is right here:
/usr/local/lib/gtk+-1.2.7/gtk-config

Of course, its possible that you don't clear the old GTK library so ./configure is finding the old gtk-config script and then... you can wonder... instead of upgrade packages (at least when they're in diferent formats) is better to send the old to the hell and only then install the new one. Good luck :)
Thanks.

Well, if it was installed via RPM/YaST, then use RPM/YaST to uninstall it. If you originally compiled it from source, then go to the source directory and try 'make uninstall'. This should (theoretically) work, but many people leave this part of their make scripts out. In that case you'll probably just have to rm... I uninstalled the original package via YaST. try > 'make uninstall'. 'make uninstall' did the trick. I should have known - thanks for reminding me. After this I once again tried to ./configure Once again, however, I didn't succeed. -- Yatsen Ng Den Haag, The Netherlands yatsenng@casema.net It said "Needs Windows 95 or better".
