OK, good. Perhaps not all will go onto SUSE and these could be things for the build server. At least as it is not forgotten it is good. houghi -- WARNING TO ALL PERSONNEL: Firings will continue until morale improves.

I have not checked them all. (Well, I have not checked any of them) It could be that they are not on the 5 CD set. People look at it and can't see it. Could also be that they don't see it, because it is not installed by default. If they are available, they could be removed, limiting te list. Perhaps also nice would be to look if any of them are installable via additional repo's and point there.
Lots of the other stuff is something for the build server - and some parts are enhancements for 10.2 which I'll look later at again,
I suppose indeed most could be for the build server. houghi -- Losing your drivers' license is just God's way of saying "BOOGA, BOOGA!"
The main window of YAST always opens at a reasonable size, but windows like YOU open up around 2500 pixels wide on my desktop and resizing it around 900 wide doesn't get stored, next time I open it, it is 2500 pixels wide again. Likewise Add/Remove Software opens maximised, un-maximising leaves it at about 50% screen height and 2500ish pixels wide again. Reseting to something "useful" is allowed during the session, but next time I start it, it is the same rigmarole again :-( Most of the other windows default to about 2/3rds the width of my desktop (2560 pixels). Is there any plan to get YAST to remember window sizes, or at least use sensible defaults on large desktops? (I'm using the dual head and a 20.1" widescreen on 10.0, the 10.1 machine beta is currently on a single 17" TFT display machine.) Dave

You don't say which desktop / window manager you're using, but if it's KDE, then there exists a very sophisticated mechanism for controlling size and placement of different application's windows. I use it a lot 'cause I'm a lot anal. This capability can be accessed through the KDE Control Center, but the best way to get started using it is to use the "Special Windows Settings..." command in the "Advanced" submenu of the window control menu of the window you want to control. (Right click in the window title bar or type ALT-SPACE to activate the window control menu.)

Sigh. I get sick of explaining this. You used "reply" to start a new topic just so you wouldn't have to enter the list address. Don't do that. Make an address book entry to save you from having to type the list address and use the "New message" command when you're not actually replying to an existing message.

in usual mail manager, the headers are show, at least you can see on top of the mails you receive from the list the e-mail of the list itself. clic on it and you should be asked if you wan to write to the list. do. like this you start a new thread with the minimum hassle jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos

Some do. Many don't. Late-model KDEs make it a uniform feature of the window manager.

Hi Pascal, I already use your packages. I thought about integration of these tools into FACTORY for getting some nice eyecandy into Suse KDE. Suse's default KDE layout hasn't seen a lot of change in the last time if I remember right. I think it's time for some change. I you look at the latest Gnome screenshots of Suse 10.1 you'll see that Gnome also get's an update of it's default layout. So why not do the same for KDE? Greetings Jens Siebert
