So it *is* on the SUSE Linux 10.0 DVD.
So it seems. Thanks for enlighting me. But then I wonder why pin or a search in yast didn't reveal this. I'v installed from CDs btw, no DVD player on that machine, but I would presume that ARCHIVES.gz I copied from CD1 should list all the packages.
Well, 5 CDs with 650 MB each can't hold as much software as a dual layer DVD with 8500 MB. So some of the packages are only on DVD. YaST and pin didn't show you these packages because you can't install them from the CDs. If you change your installation source to DVD or any of the public SUSE Linux 10.0 ftp servers, postfix-mysql will show up in YaST.
Ok, that was the "problem" then. Thanks all that replied. Theo -- Theo v. Werkhoven Registered Linux user# 99872 http://counter.li.org Voorhout ICQ: 277217131 ICBM 52 13 26N , 4 29 47E. Jabber: muadib@jabber.xs4all.nl Voor GNUpg/pgp zie headers.
