Hallo Leute,
ich habe das Notebook Acer Aspire 5024 WLMi. Darauf läuft openSUSE 10.2 in der
64bit Version.
Grafikspiele starten will, z.B.
http://www.suse.de/~sndirsch/ati-installer-HOWTO.html
[Anfang]
Testing Configuration Failed
For further information, refer to the
file /var/log/Xorg.99.log. The following
report has been created from the calling
instance.
SaX libery. Success
X confuration: No information
[Ende]

hi,
i am using a dell precision m90 notebook with opensuse10.2 x86_64.
most hardware is working.
but bluetooth does not!
although i heared that it should work, coz other people wrote that the
"dell bluetooth 350" card/chip works with opensuse....
what could be wrong?
i installed every software belonging to bluetooth.
i configured bluetooth in yast with the standard settings.
i startet /etc/init.d/bluetooth start
but when starting kbluetoothd it reports that it could not find any
bluetooth-adapter.
on my last notebook, a hp nc8430 when starting kde, automatically a
message pops up, that a bluetooth-adapter was found.
what did i miss, or what did i wrong, so that no bluetooth-adapter could
be found?
is there a problem with opensuse10.2?
or 64bit?
or is it a hardware-problem?

Hi,
I have a problem with Suse 10.2: Suspend to Ram works only once. After
this certain processes (9 in total) cannot be stopped.
(kseriod,pdflush,kswapd,khubd, ...)
Im log steht:
s2ram_do: Resource temporarily unavailable
s2disk does not work either.
Any help is appreciated.
Best wishes
Stefan

Hallo Listenleser,
http://software.opensuse.org/download/xorg73/openSUSE_10.2
konnte ich nur die aktuellsten finden.
Vielen Dank!
Michael

Hallo Liste,
Sommer ;-)
Viele Grüße
Jürgen

Hi,
I have a Samsung X20 notebook with Suse 10.2 installed and I use KDE.
I have a couple of problems I would like to solve.
1) I would like to have the option of suspending Linux and resuming
Windows and vice versa
without booting either OS (as it used to be with Suse 10.0). At the
moment the default for
Linux is the session from which the suspend is called. So it resumes
to Suse by default. How can I make Grub give me the choice I want? It
looks like (to me, a non-expert) in /etc/pm/hooks/99Zgrub Linux is set
as the default using grubonce.
2) If I have multiple sessions open, with the power button assigned to
suspend to disk in
each session, I have to resume twice. The first time the laptop begin
to resume and goes
back to sleep. The second time it resumes fine. With only one session
open, this doesn't
happen. Also when suspend is executed using "powersave -U" with two
sessions open,
this problem do nor arise. Therefore it looks like during button press
a suspend to disk is
evoked by each session, and is remembered and executed during the
first resume. The
same holds for suspend to ram. How can I fix this?
Thanks for all help,
Pramod
