How can this be disabled? I'd like zyppers summary to tell me what will happen, not what wont. I did not disable recommends in order to be bothered with suggestions. ;)
i'd also suggest it'd be helpful to know WHY the package is not going to be installed ...
It's already explained: because it's "suggested", not "recommended". It could be argued that people that uses zypper instead of the GUI apps will know about the different levels of weak dependencies.
