I have replaced a crashed hard drive which had win10 and no backup for a friend who cannot get past point-and-click :)
I installed Leap 42.3, plasma5/kde
the OP has and depends on an old dos recipe program, meals. I have meals running satisfactory using dosemu from an icon on the desktop, but it opens windowed. is their an xml directive I can put into the xxx.desktop file which will direct the app to open maximized, or full screen?
