No, it's not just you. Looks like LO redid its font selection handling. My font list looks horrible. It shows all the foreign (to me) fonts with character examples to the right-side of the list. It is a cluster. I'm not surprised. It looks like they updated the listing to show the fonts in their rendered style and it looks horrible and probably takes an addition 10M of RAM - damn frustrating.
