A few days ago in another oS list I posted an article re AdBlock Plus claiming that its owner "....has been quietly approaching makers of iOS ad-blocking software, offering them monthly payouts to support the "whitelist" policy that allows the AdBlock Plus to make its money." http://www.smh.com.au/digital-life/digital-life-news/adblock-plus-accused-of... AdBlock Plus (for Firefox) had been 'replaced' by AdBlock Edge (a fork or AB+) some time ago which did not allow a whitelist of ads. I just had a look and found that AdBlock Edge has been discontinued but has been replaced (by the (?)author - I didn't check) by *uBlock* *Origin* which, of course, does not have a whitelist. FYI.
