Hello,
how do I tell digikam to keep the downloaded photos as they are, not adding anything?
digikam alsways seems to insert e.g. "Processing Software : digiKam-3.5.0 Software : digiKam-3.5.0" into the exif data.
What is your camera? Modern cameras support something like MTP which will allow transfer over USB as if they were files -- the protocol makes the camera store look like a USB store :-) You might also look at DARKTABLE. That doesn't alter the image, rather it makes a parallel file of the changes that are interpreted when viewing with darktable. http://www.darktable.org/usermanual/ch01s03.html.php Yes you can export the result but the imported file is not changed. As for exfat ... Its encumbered by Microsoft patents and so can't be included with any distribution. However a search shows http://software.opensuse.org/package/fuse-exfat -- /"\ \ / ASCII Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML Mail / \ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
