I speak of LibreOffice.

But this time I strike a unsolvable dependency problem: 4.2.4.2 "tells" me that there are 3 files which are not available for it and so it cannot install. But the 3 files *ARE* installed and available! Checked and double-checked, and checked again.
So what is the possible cause of the problem? The files that libreoffice is looking for have been moved to another directory/subdirectory: the files it wants are located in /usr/lib64/ but I don't know where they were originally located. [pruned]
I have updated LibreOffice on my OpenSuse 13.1 box on a regular basis, and, with help from this list (I think it was this list) have got a developer version working.
Can you remember which three files "are, but are not there"?
(Yes, I know this does not resolve your comment about having a repository with the current libre office version available. I know nothing about packaging)
The 3 files are: libfreetype.so.6 libgnomevfs-2.so.0 libgconf-2.so.4 BC -- Over the years you've helped raise awareness of a number of issues but the main one has been what a pain in the arse you are. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
