пишет: Firefox works highly unstable since some time. I disappears randomly, and finally I found how to make it crash reliably. Go to https://build.opensuse.org, click on All Projects, clear Exclude user home project - firefox disappears.
What is weird - it does it only when started via GNOME shell (favorites or search). It does not crash when started directly from terminal.
After install 50+ debug packages and attaching gdb I finally got zero useful information:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0x00007f4008b512f6 in ?? () (gdb) bt #0 0x00007f4008b512f6 in ?? () #1 0x00007f3fec5ab9c0 in ?? () #2 0x00007fff4508e2c8 in ?? () #3 0x0000000000000000 in ?? () (gdb)
(all debug packages requested by gdb are installed).
This likely would make bug report pretty pointless :(
Am I the only one?

Looks like nVidia drivers issue
For the record - I currently use driver 319.82 where problems do not occur (I hesitate to say "fixed" :) ) Other users on nVidia forums report that drivers 331.38 do not have this problem either. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
