The lines below are being written to the system log on my workstation every second. Another machine also running 12.2 with kernel 3.4.11-2.16-desktop x64, is not getting these messages.
Been doing this since Nov 1. I'm not positive, but I suspect that was about when I upgraded the workstation to 12.2, the other machine was upgraded shortly thereafter.

Fwiw upnp is not being used anywhere (it is disabled in my router),
That does not mean upnp is not gonna by used by client applications.
and the roku is using a static address.
