And the pronter that Davi has working is a supported printer so one would guess that the print system is working.
I think you are so missing the point I'm trying to make about access.
From the OP's first post: "I am trying to install the printer Xerox Phaser 6128MFP. I'm using opensuse 12.2, 64 bits. *First I tried from the usb, but it was not detected in neither yast or lsusb.* *Then I tried to install it from the internet cable.* I downloaded the drivers from Xerox and connected the printer to my router. Yast could detect it and pointed to the correct driver. Nevertheless for some reason I cannot print a test page (or any other thing). I click the button to print the test, ask for the 1 page test, but nothing happens." So there is your answer. Best guess is the printer is NOT supported. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
