The yast module now works (!), (which is cool, thnx..;-) but the KDE module has europe.pool.ntp, and does not. So change settings conveniently from the clock? Forget it. Do you by accident know where the kde timt date module stores/looks for the server addresses?
Don't have *any* idea what KDE module you are referring. I have always set/adjusted ntp via editing /etc/ntp.conf. I can ping europe.pool.... from here but it is simple to set a different address and they do not all need to be from the same pool, 0.pool.ntp.org will work as will es/po/it/. Read the explanation of ntp and pool on google. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
