I use KDE. The option is there, it just doesn't work. When you open
Remote Login, a list of available systems is listed, but as soon as you try to select one, the panel disappears and you're back at the login screen. It worked in 11.4, which also used KDE4.
I disagree. What you describe is how it always worked for me - the list disappeared and back at the login.
I have another ThinkPad with 11.4 on it. Remote login worked with it for me. In fact, I just tried it again to verify. It still works. So, for me at least, remote login works with 11.4.
Indeed, but that's not what I said - you elided what I said.
I can configure it OK for 11.4 but that doesn't let me login from my opensuse 11.4 to the mandriva or redhat boxes.
I haven't tried connecting to any other distro, as all my systems are openSUSE. However, from the sound of it, yours is a different problem. I am trying to connect to an openSUSE system that I have no problem connecting to with earlier versions. The problem is that with 12.1, you can't even attempt to connect to a system because as soon as you move the mouse to select one, the panel disappears. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
