CompTIA's Linux+ is now LPI as well as Suse's Linux cert.
Linux+ grants equivalence to LPIC-1, which grants equivalence to the CLA11 from Novell/SUSE. On top of CLA11, there are the CLP11 and CLE11 certifications. Unlike the Linux+/LPI/CLA11 certifications, CLP11 and CLE11 are practical exams where you take the exam over the Internet by interacting with live systems to complete a set of tasks/objectives. The Novell/SUSE certifications focus on SLES.
