Hi all,
I installed 11.3 this morning, but after about 10 minutes I had to delete it and go back to 11.2. It's my own fault because I didn't know what to do to set the monitor setting correctly. The new software seems to "guess" at the monitor settings, but in my case it did not get it right. I have a Samsung 2494HS monitor. KDE comes up and it looks good, but within a minute or so the monitor shows an error, something like "not recamended (sp) please use 1920x1080 60hz" Then after about 3-4 minutes the monitor goes black and I have to turn it off and back on to get a picture.
Can someone give an idea about how to handle this?
