Hi list, having switched to KDE (4.4.3) this february, there is one thing that really bugs me: The eratic behavior of the input focus when using the 'follows mouse' setting(*). I had a look at bugs.kde.org, and it turns out that this is an issue that is around for *years* already. Now I really start wondering: What focus mode do you use? Is no one actually using follows-mouse? Or are you using it, but don't care about the bug? At least for me, I cannot really tell which is worse - having to click each time I change the focus or having to cross-check twice where my focus *actually* is. Both make me think of jumping off the waggon again... (*) it is quite unpredictable which window will get the focus when you do things like switch the desktop with keystrokes, quit (dialog) windows etc. Most often it is *not* the window the mouse cursor actually is in, and then you first have to move it out and in again....
